Recommended software for STL to GCODE?

We recently got a new 3d printer and we need to convert 3d files(STL) to GCODE for the printer to actually print the thing.

Creality provides software to do this, but it doesn't run on Linux.

What would be the best software for Slackware that could do this?

James

3D printing on Slackware

I use Ultimaker Cura when I am not logged into my own 3D_printer's server (ras pi3).

https://ultimaker.com/software/ultimaker-cura

I just installed it to make sure it will run.

Here are some instructions:

Good luck!

I tried the appimage for slic3r, it doesn't run. :/

Not sure if it's because I am on -current or some other issue. Trying to troubleshoot it.
