Excellent video as always. The only thing I saw is that you used "su" instead of "su -" which usually isn't a problem, but generally speaking its a better idea to use "su -" so that you invoke root's environment.

I usually use Fluxbox as a stop-gap on a fresh install before installing MATE (no KDE/XFCE). After seeing this and your fluxbox video, I think I may have been a bit hasty in dismissing it. Well done as usual OTB (on both counts).
Like @Daedra, I use "su -". Rather than set the executable bit I use "bash fluxbox.SlackBuild". I also add a tag, to save typing I just add it to the BUILD variable "BUILD=${BUILD:-6cgs}". In my own SlackBuild scripts I do use a TAG variable.
TIP: type in a terminal "pipe-viewer OldTechBloke" gives the output shown in the attached pic. You can also type pipe-viewer without argument, then type OldTechBloke at the prompt and press Enter. Then, just type the number of the video you want to play (in our case: 1) and press Enter.
PS Do you sometimes run the Royal Enfield or is it there only for decorating?
PPS I hope you will make a video of Slint64-15.0 when released within one or two weeks

Reason: PS added.
Im afraid not. I suppose I could add to the video description
I watched the video \o/
How do you make sure your custom package won't get overwritten by an eventual security update? Are you using slackpkg and blacklisting the fluxbox package?

I’ll take a look at Slint and yes the Royal Enfield is used. It’s been away for the winter but it’s about to move outside again :-)

I just blacklist my _otb tag along with _SBo. And yes I use slackpkg
