Talking RawTherapee on Slackware 14.2 KDE 64 Bit

Hi All

Seems we don't have RawTherapee Slackware package nor SlackBuild.
For the ones wishing to get it on our beloved distro, I announce that I got it apparently working as a charme, compiling it.
The tutorial here:
http://50.87.144.65/~rt/w/index.php?...le_RawTherapee
RawTherapee main page here:
http://50.87.144.65/~rt/w/index.php?title=Main_Page
Indispensable prerequisite: before start compiling (the whole process as $ (user) if I remember properly), needing to install:
libiptcdata-1.0.4-x86_64-2_SBo.tgz

After installing don't forget:
move the release folder (~/repo-rt/build/release folder) to the home folder and rename it as "rt".
After that, you can run the program by cli with this command:
$ ~/rt/rawtherapee
Is possible to create a launcher too, of course!
(I did it renaming the folder as ".rt" so I don't have any unwanted visible folder in my /home.

The last good news:

Update RawTherapee

Every time you want to update your RawTherapee to the latest code available, just do the following and then repeat the Compile RawTherapee step above:

cd ~/repo-rt
git pull

Cheers!

@ willysr: - Oh boy! LOL I have been looking for it before trying to compile and I did'nt get. The only explanation is that (using slpkg -F) I wrote the program name with the wrong spelling.
Thank you for the news. Well, the good point is that I have been able to do something never done before.
But... seems the SlackBuild is'nt there and the Alien's package is an old release (image hereby attached)

If slpkg can't see things properly (no clue why), maybe you need to grab them manually. The files are available directly from SBo.

@ bassmadrigal: - Hi! - Yes please, you are right.
Do you know what? - I said "maybe I wrote the program name with the wrong spelling" (at my first attempt some days ago) because I don't want be rude but is'nt the first time "slpkg" gets nothing and I get the package visiting the SlackBuilds.org page.
I have been installing "slpkg" because I like the way the "Author" introduced it on LQ Forum here but seems necessary to pay big attention using it and going to repositories pages to check personally if the wanted package is there or not

I've really only used sbopkg for SlackBuilds on SBo (and I've never run into anything like this), and I don't install things from other repos (with the occasional exception for some software on Eric's repo), so I'm not sure I'd be the best to try and track down what's going on here. Maybe it'd be worth notifying the author of your issue and see if a fix can be found.
