PyGTK 2.10 installation crashes KDE

Hello,

i´m relatively new to Slackware 12.0. I use KDE 3.5 as UI.

My problem is that since i´ve installed PyGTK 2.10 (for wifi-radar) KDE doesn´t start anymore.

Slackware is booting to the login-prompt without an error.
I also can login with my username, but when i want to start KDE with startx the system hangs on this position. The system responds as below:

xauth timeout in locking authority file /home/...

The only possible way back to the login (without rebooting) is Ctrl-c
BlackBox isn´t affected from this problem, only KDE

Does anyone have an idea to solve this problem?

Greetings
John
