Printing error: "Failed to load the PPM image"

Linux Slackware 14.2, Printer Xerox Phaser 3140. It works most of the time, but for a certaing pdf file it doesn't print some of the pages with an error: "Failed to load the PPM image".

I googled and found that it is related to ghostscript installation. I installed ghostscript, but it didn't help:

Quote:
# cd /var/log/packages/
/var/log/packages# ls -l ghost*
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 30015 May 3 17:38 ghostscript-9.19-i586-2
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 30065 Jun 29 2019 ghostscript-9.26-i586-1_slack14.2
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 4148 Oct 3 2016 ghostscript-fonts-std-8.11-noarch-1
Any ideas how to fix?

You seem to have two different ghostscripts. Get rid of the older one.

Removed ghostscript-9.19-i586-2. Still the same error.
