print a man page in console??

hye guys n gals just a quick question.

Just wondering how I go about printing a man page from the console. I want to be able to print it out so I can view it later.
A bit of info:

Slackware 9, CUPS, Fluxbox

I think you can just send the man page to a file and then print the file

ex: man bash > bashtext

or try piping the man page to the printer directly..

ex: man bash | lp -d "printer name" -o "nb"

Let me know which method you used and how it worked.
