Preventing flickering in konqueror

Hi,

Having used kde for quite some time now, I've grown accustomed to the flickering that can sometimes occur on the panel and in konqueror/d3lphin while browsing files. However, today I went into kcontrol, and in the KDE Performance section I selected the option 'never' for 'minimise memory usage' for konqueror. Since doing that, I get beautiful flicker free browsing!

Just in case anyone else like me thought this was normal and unfixable.
