Red face Packages has not been created with mkepkg


Hi could anyone point me in the right direction in building the slackware packages using the MkePkg I'm trying to install linux slackware 14 and or how to configure and compile the source.PS

Where should I start to this step
./configure --prefix=/usr --localstatedir=var --sysconfdir=/var
make :-}

Type "man makepkg".

Or use src2pkg to build the package.

Those don't cover all cases but for the most part

This slackbuild covers the idea of how to conquer more specific cases without gnu conf or DESTDIR: https://github.com/maciuszek/source/...unified-driver

Also get in the habbit of making build scripts it helps the community.
