Yes. Over this extended development cycle I have tried out a lot of operating systems. All operating systems suck a little bit. Slackware has deficits, but, it definitely sucks less than other operating systems I can name.
I'm grateful to be a Slacker today.

Oh, wasn't aware of that. I'm the opposite of a systemd supporter and glad of its absence in Slackware and other unix-like operating systems. Don't know why I thought about this when I was registering, sounded "cool", but that's all there was to it.

Thanks again for your answers and the providing of further contribution ideas and corresponding links. I was aware of a lot of them but there were useful new thoughts and links, too.

Good to know how to peacefully "slack on" and "having fun" not only knowing how to contribute also in the present to this great and unique project but also that it works and does have an effect.
