other ways of installing slack 9.0?

ok i dowloaded it the iso to mindows xp it converted it to a format that when trying to rip it to a cd and make it a bootable disk on my other machine didnt werk. i looked at nero and iso buster but those need to be opeped w/ winzip which i have to purchase. i dont belive in that so what else can i do? the other machine has mdk 8.0 on it and 3 h/ds and fully functional. id like to get it on cd sum how so i have a copy to reinstall if nessesary.

What exactly is the question here? If you're trying to burn the ISO you don't need to convert it to anything to burn it to a CD and have it be bootable.
