Opera crashes when I visit the slackware bookstore...
Every time I try to go to the slackware.com bookstore, Opera quites and disappears. Ive done it a dozen times, I cleared all caches, all cookies and everything and it still does it. I tried mozilla and it does not do that.
What would cause that?
That is hard to tell. Opera is closed-source, so you can't just run a debugger to get a trace. It is best to look if others have the same problem. If so, send a detailed bug report to Opera.
Running Opera 8.52 here on Windows and in Slackware and I can't reproduce your problem. I would suggest making sure you have the latest stable version (NOT Opera 9 which is still not even in Beta stages yet) and if you are still experiencing problems, reinstall Opera - make sure you get the right package so that it's statically linked with QT.
