You mean it starts every time you log in to KDE, using some certain user? If you create another user and log in as that user, does it still come up (it shouldn't)? Or if you run something like
Code:
startx -e twm
will it still start up (again, should not)?

If I'm right, this is about session saving; it means that some time in the past you had OpenOffice running (you didn't close it) when you logged out from KDE and you had session saving on for some reason. This causes your KDE to "remember" all the applications you had open when the session was last saved, and it loads them automatically back when you log in. Solution to not load OO.org when logging in: close every application you have open, like OpenOffice.org, then save your session or if you have automatical session saving when logging out, just make sure you don't have any applications running while logging out.

The easiest way probably is close OO.org (and other apps that are running) and save the session; I can't remember exactly where it could be done, but I'd start looking from the KDE Control Center. I'm pretty positive there's a choice to save your session.

If you do want something to auto start in KDE, put a link to it in the /home/yourname/.kde/Autostart directory. I like kopete and a few other things starting themselves up for me.
