open browser in fluxbox

When I start Opera in fluxbox it takes a long time to start. I have version 0.9.9 of fluxbox but I had the same problem in the latest stable version.

Anyone know how to fix this?

Maybe your ~/.xsession-errors file can you give an idea where the problem is, if eventually Opera is verbose.

Opera is usually quite slow to load. Once loaded though, it browses faster than many other browsers.

if your computer is not slow, open a console and type opera to see if there aren't any errors. As mentionned above you could also check your xsession-errors file.
