Older Logitech 3 button serial port mouse configuration.

Hello!

I am having trouble configuring a older Logitech serial port mouse. I have uncommented what I think is the right protocol and device in 'XF86Config'. It works, but it is very slow. I have done a search, through google/linux and also here in the forum's, which helped get me this far, but now I am out of resource's. How do i speed this mouse up?

Thank's!

Tarts.

{edit}

Solved. First I checked to see if the mouse was working and on what tty (ttyS[0-3]) with 'cat /dev/ttyS[0-3]', got the idea from here, do a search.

Then After seeing it works, I opened up '/etc/X11/XF86Config' and uncommented '/dev/ttyS0' with 'Mouseman' as the protocol. Works great.
