Lightbulb Notice something cool about fvwm3 and sddm


I just noticed something nice about fvwm3 and sddm.

File /usr/share/xsessions/fvwm3.desktop is installed, that means you get a pick on the sddm menu to use fvwm3. That means ~/.xsession is not used in this case

FWIW, this setup works great for me

Yes a nice add on. There is an interesting post on reddit how to future proof fvwm3 to run on wayland using xwayland. https://www.reddit.com/r/unixporn/s/NQL31SsHr6
