Nonfree Nvidia Driver on Slackware 64 current multilib can't load swrast driver problem.


I'm immediately marking this as solved because I now know what caused it, and I originally asked about this in a tangentially related thread.

So I'm going to put it in here for better searches.

I was actually given the solution by Labinnah, but I misunderstood it, thinking it would be okay to not have the package in question, libglvnd compat, installed.

I continued to have the problem, until I found this, by AlienBob.

slackpkg install multilib

I surely should have done that, basically only use it for games, and I don't play many so I completely forgot about that.

So, yeah, if you got the same problem, try the above.
