No Scrollbars in Epiphany

I don't have any scrollbars in Epiphany 1.2.6 in GNOME, I got scrollbars under root, but when I login as joeblow I don't get any scrollbars. I have to highlight the page to scroll (quite annoying). Whats the problem?

Applications -> Internet -> Galeon Web Browser (Gives a error: Galeon failed to start. Ensure the "MOZILLA_FIVE_HOME" environment variable is set to the correct Mozilla installation directory.)

Please help!

Open up a gnome-terminal and start epiphany; see what errors it gives. It may be missing some libraries or can't find a file. This is what I try when I get strange behavior or a program won't start up and I don't know why.

Did you update to Mozilla 1.7.3? That might be your problem.

Quote:
New Mozilla 1.7.3 packages are available for Slackware 10.0 and -current to
fix security issues.

Here are the details from the Slackware 10.0 ChangeLog:
+--------------------------+
patches/packages/mozilla-1.7.3-i486-1.tgz: Upgraded to mozilla-1.7.3.
The Mozilla page says this fixes some "minor security holes".
It also breaks Galeon and Epiphany, and new versions of these have
still not appeared. In light of this, I think it's time to remove
these Gecko-based browsers. The future is going to be Firefox and
Thunderbird anyway, and I don't believe Galeon and Epiphany can be
compiled against Firefox's libraries.
