[SOLVED] No flash player with chromium.slackbuild

I installed chromium with the slackbuild and can't find the libpepflashplayer.so file. Or any way to get flash to work with chromium.

Using chromium 39.

Any help appreciated.

From what I understand chromium doesn't use libflashplayer.so any longer and I already tried to install libflashplayer.so. I know how to install plugins in a web browser. If you will re-read the original post you will see that I asked about libpepflashplayer.so. From everything I have read on google libpepflashplayer.so is supposed to be included in the chromium install but it's not there.

Chromium is the open-source version of Chrome. As you already found out, it doesn't contain proprietary technology like flash. It needs to be provided. And since Chrome no longer supports libflashplayer.so, you need to use pepperflash, which, as far as I know, is extracted from Chrome itself.

Just some clarification on why you needed to do things the way you did
