sept
i got a new problem
i know what it is
just donno how to fix it
when i plug my cable into the laptop and then start konqueror
i cant connect to any site

maybe a DNS or a proxy setting problem?

well it the setup i had to set it to a port...something like tty4 or something is what i set it to
not sure if thats what i need to set it too tho

there are quite a bit of discussion on cable/adsl set up, i found one, there are more. netconfig seems to be the one that you can try. I use analogue modem, so my kppp and the ltmodem driver is ok for me.
