Ok I have a folder named mp3drive located in my mnt folder. I made the necessary changes to my fstab. I also was able to mount this drive. My question is how do i get files to and from this drive its a Rio carbon with a 5gb usb-storage. Wanna put some mp3's on this puppy thats located in another folder how do i transfer them on there etc and get it to read the mp3's that are already on my mp3 player?

If you mounted the device on /mnt/mp3drive, then to copy files to it, simply type cp filename /mnt/mp3drive in your terminal, to just move files there, use mv filename /mnt/mp3drive. To play files on there, open up your favorite mp3 program, and open the files in /mnt/mp3drive. This is all, of course, assuming you've given yourself proper permissions.
