mouse button emulation question

hey there

I have an iBook, so there's only a left-click button.
Tapping the keypad works for left click as well, so I'm wondering if it's possible to use the keypad tap for left-click and the button for right-click or vice versa? or are they inseparable?

That's a question specific to X and it's features.
I, unfortunately, believe that the tapping and key are hard-wired by the touchpad controller

Ask google?

I think they must be hard-wired together. oh well. I got a wireless mini usb mouse today, I can live with that.
