Mouse and Trackball at the same time

I just installed SlackWare 10.1 and would like to be able to use the mouse and a trackball at the same time in X. I use KDE. The mouse works fine it is a PS2 port mouse although I will probably use a USB mouse later. I have a USB trackball that I like to use for games. The lsmod shows all the drivers loaded for the trackball as it is just seen as a USB mouse. What do I need to do to get it to work at the same time as the mouse in X? add stuff to the xorg.cfg for another input device? Can I have more than one at a time?

Yes, that exactly what you need to do, add another device as input in your xorg.conf file. I remember a lot of people doing that to have mouse & touchpad running at the same time, so if you've a doubt about how to do it, I'm sure a quick search here will give you some ideas.
