Monitor Frequency

I did the XF86Config thing for Vet. and Horiz. Synch already.

How do I change my monitor frequency in Slackware 9?
I got a monitor that will do 86hz and i feel like im running at 60. At least my eyes do anyway.

Thanks.

Slackware 9.0 is very nice.

run xvidtune from an xterm
correct your screen, to work at a higher refresh rate
click "show"
you will get a line of numbers pasted to your xterm. close it and now copy that line into XF86Config-4

Code:
Section "Monitor"
...
VertRefresh...
ModeLine "1024x768" 94.50 1024 1036 1132 1260 768 769 772 796 +HSync +VS
ync
#or whatever you got. if you havent figured it out yet, the 94.50 is the refresh rate.
cheers.

"1280x1024" 157.50 1280 1344 1504 1728 1024 1025 1028 1072 +hsync +vsync

mine can't be running at 157.50, more like 85khz

Plus I have no /ect/X11/XF86Config-4
