minicom hangs with default minirc

In slackware the "/etc/minirc.dfl" file comes without a newline at the end. Then minicom cannot start even with the -s command line option.

Adding a newline to "/etc/minirc.dfl" reolves the problem.

I have not encountered this problem, but I do still use minicom to talk to an 8051 platform that I designed and manufactured in the distant dim past.

I'll add this to my knowledge base for future reference. What version of Slackware are you using?
