Question Microphone not working on Slackware64 14

I purchased ASUS P8Z68-V PRO motherboard which has Realtek ALC892 audio chip.

The Audio works out of box except the microphone (pink port on the back).
Here is my configuration.

I tried several options in /etc/modprobe.d/sound.conf. None of them works.

Xfce Mixer has the microphone options. However, none of them works (see attached screenshots). If I turned on Rear Mic Boost, the static sound comes out of speakers.

Does anyone run into the same problem? Any helps will be appreciated.

The capture screen displays Capture and Capture 1 (See the attachment).

I have been struggling with this issue since I purchased the new motherboard. I had the same issue on Slackware64 13.37. Installing Slackware64 14 didn't solve the issue. I also downloaded, complied and installed the drivers from Realtek website. No luck at all.

What happens when you click "Select Controls ..." in the captures tab?
