See? I knew already that everyone appreciate the XFCE compilation by Eric Hameleers.

And most likely Leon really does not need your non existent support for it.

I think Robby Workman normally handles XFCE updates. At least, he was the one who hosted the 4.12 builds for 14.1 when the official Slackware builds were at 4.10.

Same thing I use myself.

I'm a bit behind on the show and haven't watched this episode yet, but does he actually use the live distro or is he just using Slackware with XFCE? Can you tell in the episode?

Ha ha! So, you recognized it after wallpaper?

BUT, not be so sure that's right the i586 build. Could be well also the x86_64 one.

@bassmadrigal

He assume it is about an installed XFCE live, just like he use. And probably Leon does not needed my humble tutorial to do it.

PS. In real life, still I believe they just used the live, as it.

I hope you realize that a Russian like me will see at television this episode somewhere in December 2018.

Because this way works your American Media, then they cry about piracy.

So, he could just be using a regularly installed Slackware and have selected the XFCE desktop rather than running Slackware Live?

The wallpaper is like the one of Eric's live.

And in real life, probably this they used for real, make no sense for directors to install Linux in that poor laptop.

Also, forgive @LuckyCyborg this time, he's looking that had become a die-hard fan of that "XFCE compilation".

And that's understandable for me, considering that he had to chose between it or Ubuntu, because of his hardware constraints.

I didn't realize he had a specific wallpaper for it. Thanks for the info!

Every time I watch that show and they’re using Kali I think “oh great here come 12 posts in the Newbie forum about how to install Nvidia drivers on Kali...”. So it’s good to see Slackware in there.

Some episodes ago he booted up to Mint, which I thought was perfect, but then the next thing he did was download a Kali iso and boot into that.

You'll still see before I will, mainly because I believe most TV is poisonous swill and don't care to waste my time watching it.
