looking for a stable current .iso

Hi. I recently downloaded build 13 2020 .iso from alien bob I believe. It is not as stable as I would like. anyone know where to find a current .iso less than a year old. I like to game so need multi lib for wine.

was using a current from like March 2018.

I'm running -current on three desktops and two laptops. It's stable for me. How is -current unstable?

Okay. What are you doing that is causing Dolphin to crash? Dolphin is working for me.

alien bob is generating a Slackware64 current iso after each update.
It can be found at https://slackware.nl/slackware/slackware64-current-iso/. As said current is pretty much stable these days. So you'll just need to add multilib, wine from alien bob current repository.

In KDE try to turn off Baloo, go to System Settings -> Search (under Workspace) ->File Search and unchecked "Enable File Search." Baloo could be causing problems. Plasma 5 was added to slackware64.

Please run
Code:
slackpkg search dolphin
so we can see what version of dolphin you are on.

Also please run
Code:
slackpkg search slackware64
to see if you have everything installed since there have been packages added to Slackware Current.

For me , i discover dolphincrash , when you try to pick the option "same for all"

" , "
EXAMPLE , you go copy files in a directory , you know several files exists first dialog appears ... "skip" , rename ... overwrite ...

cause you know this go apperas several times , try put do for all ...and automatically dolphin crash.

Download Slackware's Current Tree and make an ISO image yourself with the most recent updates.

You can take a look at this post: https://www.linuxquestions.org/quest...te-4175658897/

Resume:

Download Slackware's Current Tree

Code:
rsync -aHhv --progress --stats rsync://slackware.uk/slackware/slackware64-current /choose/a/directory/
Having a copy the Slackware's Tree (of preference) read the file that is at: slackware64-current/isolinux/README.TXT

Read online: https://slackware.uk/slackware/slack...nux/README.TXT

There you will find instructions to generate an ISO file and burn it to a dvd or USB.

Every time you want an ISO with the most recent updates, just update your local Slackware Tree (that you downloaded previously) by doing a sync with an official mirror using rsync and repeat the steps.

I downloaded build 18 and it appears stable so far. need to see how to get nouveau removed and nvidia drivers installed.
also installed debian 10.7 buster and its nice as well. removed windows. had uptime with my old current from 3-5-19 of 155 days no rebooting.
