Lightbulb localepurge & Slack?

Hi all,

recently I stumbled upon localepurge, a nifty tool in Debian to get rid of all the locales that you don't want to use. It cleaned up 140 MB. Can this script be ported to (or simply, be used* in) Slack?

I have no experience with scripting, so this could be a challenge for someone else?

Cheers, Leon.

* After reading the locale man page: apparently, it's not that simple!
From the locale man page:
Quote:
Since localepurge uses debconf for storing its configuration data its configuration should only be done via dpkg-reconfigure(8) as outlined below. If not done via debconf(8) any manual entries will be irreversibly lost after an upgrade or reinstallation of the package.
