I saw there was recently an update of a KDE application called LabPlot
https://labplot.kde.org/
I was surprised when I didn't find it in the slackware KDE's package tree, and then I noticed that it is not the only one from KDE's umbrella missing. For example, the Trojità mail client, the libmpv mediaplayer Haruna, all the stuff from MAUI and some others.
The list of KDE applications I'm taking as reference is this one
https://apps.kde.org/
It seems to be a mix of "KDE Gear" applications, which have a fixed release schedule together with the plasma desktop and frameworks, and other programs whose release is independent (like Krita)
So, seeing that the applications in question, LabPlot, seems a really cool tool that could be very useful for researchers and academia people, and also acknowledging that slackware bundles A LOT of kde stuff (i previously thought that it was really including the complete KDE ecosystem), I was wondering why LabPlot and other KDE applications are not included in slackware (while krita is).
I understand that one cannot bundle every software in the world because space on the DVD is limited, so there has been a sort of "selection process" of what was cool to bundle and what was not. For example I personally would leave the MAUI stuff out since they seems focused on the plasma mobile experience (and they are also still in beta), but a nice tool like LabPlot I would definitely want included.
