Ksquirrel

Has anyone successfully installed ksquirrel 8.0 on slackware 12.0?
I have tried the packages and compiling from source.. here is the last part of the output from the libaries when I try to compile.

/usr/bin/ginstall -c -p -m 644 how_to_build_c++.png /usr/share/doc/ksquirrel-libs/0.8.0/how_to_build_c++.png

I compile the program that seems to go fine, I even see the ksquirrel libaries in /usr/lib but when I go to run the program I get:

ksquirrel: error while loading shared libraries: libkipi.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

I do updatedb did a locate on that file (libkipi.so.0) but its not there.
I tried running $ldconfig but that does not help. Any Suggestions on what I am doing wrong? I do ./configure.gnu, make, make install for both the libraries and the program. Any help is appreciated. Thanks in advance.

KSquirrel depends on Kipi.

Kipi is the KDE Image Plugin Interface.
Directions for obtaining the source are here: http://extragear.kde.org/apps/kipi/#svn

Kipi comes with its own set of dependencies, see that same web page for details.

Thanks That Did The Trick.. Did I miss that on the ksquirrel site?
cause I looked over it it only says you need kde 3.X and qt 3.X
if I'm not mistaken it does not say anything about libkipi.

Anyway Thanks ....
