In htop, sometimes I will see a dozen or more of these at the same time. I have several apps running, so I'm not worried; I don't doubt they're legit. There also are no performance or memory issues with them. I just don't know what they are, have never noticed these in other distros, and a dozen or more seems excessive.
They're on the kdeinit tree in the KDE process table, but that's all I know. I can kill them in htop, and it doesn't seem to affect anything.
Can anyone fill me in?
