i'm not sure if Berkely DB has associated libraries it installs? If so you have to run ldconfig after installing, then try installing kdevelop again.

well i m sorry but i don't know much about ldconfig...but here something which may help.
in installing Breakly , in make install here is a line which was outputed
"PATH="$PATH:/sbin" ldconfig -n /usr/local/BerkeleyDB.4.5/lib
"

but when i made echo $PATH , here is the output
"/usr/local/linuxprinter/bin:/usr/local/sbin:/usr/sbin:/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/X11R6/bin:/usr/games:/opt/www/htdig/bin:/usr/lib/java/bin:/usr/lib/java/jre/bin:/usr/lib/java/bin:/usr/lib/java/jre/bin:/opt/kde/bin:/usr/lib/qt/bin:/usr/share/texmf/bin
"
i saw no trace for teh path of Breekeley

and still kdevlop makes teh same error after making teh follwong steps..
1 going to teh directory of Berkely building.
2-ldconfig
