kded5 and drkonqi core files

Just for the records, whenever I power off my LG HDMI monitor before Slackware ends its poweroff processes, I get 2 core files:

core.kded5
core.drkonqi

If I wait for the whole poweroff cycle until the screen gets blank, no core files. I searched the net and it seems that this solves the problem:

create ~/.config/plasma-workspace/shutdown/kill-plasmashell.sh with

Code:
#!/bin/sh
killall plasmashell
I found it here:

Side note

I read somewhere that the cleanest way to kill plasma is:
Code:
kquitapp5 plasmashell

Shouldn't this behaviour be reported to the kde team?

I may ask if OP uses the Wayland/Plasma5 or the classic X11/Plasma5? And if he uses Slackware 15.0 or -current.

I ask this because it's known that Wayland/Plasma5 still have some issues with the monitors disconnection.

LuckyCyborg, I use X11/Plasma with Slackware 15.0. I still do not trust Wayland and X11 works pretty fine with my software/hardware. I will switch to Wayland once it is approved here.

I use Plasma / wayland session (with wireplumber as media-session manager) since last year. Except a suspend / resume issue on my laptop (Inspiron 5515 - Ryzen 7), fixed by switching to grub2, everything works as expected
