KDE can't umount

Hi there!

I followed this tutorial to get HAL and DBUS working in Slackware 11 and everything worked like a charm. When I plug an USB stick it mounts it automagically. The problem is, only root can umount these automagically-mounted devices, any ideas?

I've looked into messagebus and HAL configurations, but they don't seem to have anything to do with the problem.

I don't know about automagical things that mount themselves but I just believe that you are supposed to pull out your USB stick without unmounting.... pretty much a la windoze style. Say, that was the purpose of automounting stuff, wasn't it?

I prefer to stick with normal fstab mounting with users and umask options given by root
