kchmviewer installing problem,can't read .chm files


Downloaded kchmviewer-4.0.tar.gz and kchmviewer.SlackBuild from slackbuild.
chmod 777 *
Being root did ./kchmviewer.SlackBuild.
From /var/log/packages/ ls -l | grep kchm doesn't show anything.
bash: kchmviewer: command not found if i do kchmviewer file.chm .

I have also searched , i got threads with xchm with wxgtk not kchmviewer
