Question Intel Current Changelog

Quote:
isolinux/initrd.img: Removed kernel modules. The kernels we're booting with now
have these drivers built-in.
This is a quote from yesterday's intel current changelog.
Does this mean that future Slack releases will not require us to install the kernel modules if we choose the huge, testing, or other 2.6x kernels?

The next release of Slackware (11.1) won't include 2.4 kernels, only 2.6 :-) (Finally!)

Thanks for the reply. So we will need to install kernel modules.
