installpkg has --root switch, removepkg & upgradepkg don't


I know they're unnecessary, but I forget.

Yeah, but all three obey the ROOT environment variable.
I assume installpkg's --root option to be an old compatibility argument -- as internally it is translated into a ROOT variable, whereas {upgrade,remove}pkg never had one -- and do not need one now therefore.
