Installing X without composite packages


I just installed slack on my laptop, unfortunately its a p1 but i am trying to get X installed and its being a little difficult seeing how slack is on 3 cds now. On the second CD there are tons of X packages i installed xorg-server ... i dont know what else to install to get X going.

if you have space just install all the x/ group. if you dont you can leave out xf86-video-* besides nv if you have an nvidia graphics card. scim* if you dont want japanese etc language support, many font packages especially some ttf ones, and many others but there no easy way to do it. you have to know what each package is for.
