Question Installing Slackware on MacbookPro6,2

Hi everyone, hope someone can help me. I've managed to partition and have a clean install of both MacOS and Slackware 13 (version I had at hand)on my machine (specs at the bottom). Got rEFIt working properly but the problem is when I boot slack I get the following error:

kernel panic - not syncing: VFS: Unable to mount root fs on unknow-block(8,3)

What can I do to solve this issue?

Thanks in advance

Model Identifier: MacBookPro6,2
Processor Name: Intel Core i7
Processor Speed: 2.66 GHz

Are you still able to boot into the Mac side, just not the Slackware side now?

The Mac side works perfect just when booting into slack the error occurs. I'm sure theres a fix for it, but I'm a noob at this lol

If you're using lilo to boot the system, could you post the contents of your /etc/lilo.conf?

Just to give an update. Tried it again with slack 14 and with the new kernel everything went perfect.

Hope this helps anyone with the same issue.
