Installing a second NIC


Its probably been asked a million times before but all help is very much appreciated

What's the problem?

Add the hardware.
Copy etc/rc.d/rc.inet1 to something like /etc/rc.d/rc.inet-eth1
Change the references to eth0 in the script to eth1. Make any other changes necessary.
Add the execution of the rc.inet-eth1 to the rc.M script in the same manner that the rc.inet1 script is called.
Execute the rc.inet-eth1 script to bring up the interface.

hmm, I probably missed something, but give it a try.
