Installation of Adobe flash Player Plugin

I am using Slackware 14.1, 64-bit.

I am not quite sure I understand how to install Adobe Flash Player plugin using SlackBuild.

I found the flashplayer-plugin.SlackBuild and slack-desc files in http://ftp.slackware.com/pub/slackwa...player-plugin/

But what about the source file? The SlackBuild file points to http://labs.adobe.com/technologies/f...flashplayer11/ but that link no longer exists.

Am I supposed to download the .tar.gz file from https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/?

You can just use Alien Bob's from here:

http://www.slackware.com/~alien/slac...in/pkg64/14.1/

Install as any other package;

# installpkg /path/to/flashplayer-plugin-11.2.202.621-x86_64-1alien.txz

+2 for Alien Bob's flashplayer package. Also, Alien Bob frequently updates his packages for the latest security bug fixes.

Just run the SlackBuild and it will download the required file for you.
