Init optimization
Has anyone done any work with slackware as to optimizing boot scripts?
The one thing that I don't like about slackware is the fact that it takes ages to boot, compared to distros like Arch and Sourcemage.
I'm thinking of hacking up the bootscripts with a few &'s, to try to make it boot faster, does anyone know if someone has already done this, and could point me to where I needed to look if they have?
