I need a copy of Slackware rc.mysql


I need a copy of the default /etc/rc.d/rc.mysql from Slackware. Can a kind soul please post me theirs. Thanks

Thanks it works like a charm. I also realised that I need an rc.httpd, so if anyone knows where I can get one, I'd be very grateful.

Not to worry about the rc.httpd, I realised I got a copy of the official one.

You could uninstall or reinstall the packages you needed, that might be a better idea so you get the original conf for them. Just a though

I am not using Slack at the mo since I shipped my main PC home. I had installed my own servers, but realised that I shipped some of my customised scripts with the PC, so I needed to rewrite them using the originals as a template since I intend to install Slack on a new machine over the weekend.

now, um how to i start rc.mysql

i had to get the rc.mysql as well, but i don't know how to make it start at bootup....
any ideas?

chmod +x /etc/rc.d/rc.mysql
