I just installed Slackware 10.2, now I'm in the configuration process. I'm trying to get X to start, but apparently the commands xorgconfig and xorgsetup don't exist.
Code:
# xorgconfig
bash: xorgconfig: command not found
# xorgsetup
bash: xorgsetup: command not found
I tried the which command on both, and they both returned the same thing:
There is no xorgconfig (or xorgsetup) in [about 7 /bin folders].
Also, there isn't a /bin folder in my /etc/X11 directory.
Glad to hear you got it working. If you use su, try using su - instead, which loads profile files which is probably why X failed to start (due to enviroment values not being set).
