Question htop used to work during installation

I recall being able to run htop during install, now it seems broken - I just get this:

I would like to run htop again during install - if possible.

I thought so? This is during the installation of Slackware itself. I know at one point it used to work, but I forget when it broke when --Current was upgraded/changed.
