Question Howto Cancel Subscription

Here's a question that's got me stumped. I've been a Slackware subscriber for quite a while, and I want to continue to support its development, but I find that I don't have much use for those four disc sets that Pat sends out (apart from setting them on my shelf to look pretty ) as I download the images via bittorrent and burn them to CD once they're released. I'd like to cancel my subscription and just donate the $30 (or probably more) through the Slackware store each time a new release comes out. Problem is, I can't figure out how exactly to cancel my subscription. I've Googled till I'm blue in the face, searched here on LQ, and so far all I've come up with is this little line at the Slackware store stating that:
Quote:
You will receive new releases of Slackware approximately once every six months. Your credit card will be billed for each release as it is shipped. You can cancel your subscription at anytime.
So does anyone know how exactly I go about cancelling? Do I just email sales@store.slackware.com with my name and address, saying that I want to cancel?

Thanks in advance!

Have you tried emailing someone at Slackware Linux?

I would assume you simply send an email to the Slackware Store telling them you want to cancel. They will probably need some information from you (as you assumed). I don't think they will give you a problem (this isn't AOL here).

But, I have to ask, if you plan on donating the money anyway, why not just keep the subscription? Even if you don't use them, at least you get something for your money (besides the warm fuzzy feeling of supporting OSS).

I've considered just keeping the subscription (and have been doing just this for a while), but I thought that perhaps by cancelling and just donating the money with each release that Slackware (and Pat in particular) would get a larger share of the money since there's no associated overhead of making the discs/case/printed material or shipping costs. I really like Slackware and use it exclusively as my desktop OS, so I guess in a more abstract sense I'm getting something for my money -- the sense of assurance that my ideal operating system will see continued development for years to come

Anyway, thanks for the suggestions and I'll just email the Slackware store. If nothing else I'm sure they will point me in the right direction.
