How to send /var/log/messages to tty12 ?

On RedHat style distroes tty12 show /var/log/messages.
How can we implement this feature in Slackware?

No AFAIK they don't at least not by default. In any case the way it's done is distro-agnostic: check syslog.conf.

It's just duplicating the 'facility.priority /dev/tty12' line.
