How to get rid of dummy0

Hi,
Quick question - how to remove (disable) the dummy0 interface from the system?
Best

is that a dummy device? check your kernel config for dummy devices then recompile and reinstall.

edit: you'll have to exclude them from the config of course but make sure no other device is dependent to it though i doubt that there are.

Place a # in front of /sbin/modprobe dummy in the file /etc/rc.d/rc.modules

Then reboot, or faster: run
Code:
/sbin/modprobe -r dummy
