How to downgrade Emacs?

I want to downgrade Emacs from latest available for stable branch 25.3 version to original 24.5 that was shipped with 14.2. (don't ask why).

Code:
bash-4.3# slackpkg info emacs

PACKAGE NAME: emacs-25.3-x86_64-1_slack14.2.txz
PACKAGE LOCATION: ./patches/packages
PACKAGE SIZE (compressed): 40476 K
PACKAGE SIZE (uncompressed): 121170 K
PACKAGE DESCRIPTION:
emacs: emacs (GNU Emacs)
emacs:
emacs: Emacs is the extensible, customizable, self-documenting real-time
emacs: display editor. If this seems to be a bit of a mouthful, an
emacs: easier explanation is that Emacs is a text editor and more. At
emacs: its core is an interpreter for Emacs Lisp, a dialect of the Lisp
emacs: programming language with extensions to support text editing.
emacs: This version supports X.

PACKAGE NAME: emacs-24.5-x86_64-2.txz
PACKAGE LOCATION: ./slackware64/e
PACKAGE SIZE (compressed): 39708 K
PACKAGE SIZE (uncompressed): 117480 K

So I conclude that there is still .txz file of original package in system, then I tried

Code:
bash-4.3# find / -name emacs-24.5-x86_64-2.txz
find: WARNING: Hard link count is wrong for `/proc/fs' (saw only st_nlink=6 but we already saw 4 subdirectories): this may be a bug in your file system driver. Automatically turning on find's -noleaf option. Earlier results may have failed to include directories that should have been searched.
find: `/home/hasek/.gvfs': Permission denied
and didn't find it. Can I download binary Slackware's package for 24.5 somewhere? How should I downgrade Emacs in a proper way?

removepkg emacs-25.3-x86_64-1_slack14.2
go to 14.2 mirror, download

Just download the 14.2 package and upgradepkg to it. Upgradepkg doesn't care whether the versions are lower are higher; it only checks that they're different.

Great, this line is actually what I was looking for, since I wasn't able to parse where should I seek for specified package location. Then I used upgradepkg to downgrade version. In case of anyone in the future who will be in same shoes, here is 14.2 mirror for x86_64. I'm not joking, just used only SlackBuilds and slackpkg before and had no idea about mirror location and packages availability.

Since your question was answered would you mind explaining what about the older emacs is preferred? If there is an issue with the new one maybe someone can find a way to solve it?
