How to 'run' with KDE4

There does not seem to be a 'run' option on the menu. On the default setting one can bring up run by right clicking on the desktop and selecting from the pop-up but using the 'folder' view (I have not figured out how to use the default view yet) this does not seem to be available. Of course I can use the terminal but it is often more convenient use a 'run' option if avaliable.

Well, it's the same by default in gnome and xfce4, and I believe that was even the default in KDE3.

It is configurable in systemsetinggs --> keyboard & mouse --> global keyboard shortcuts --> krunner.
